The
lovely and talented Lacey Nicole Chabert grew up in the very
small deep southern town of Purvis, Mississippi USA. Her last name, which
is French, is pronounced "shuh-BEHR." When Lacey
was born her Cajun father Tony had hopes for a boy. When
his wife Julie gave birth to a girl they had no name for
young Lacey. So when they brought her home  she was wearing
a lacy dress. Her grandma said "wow that's a lacy dress
she has on". When her mother heard this she decided
to call her Lacey. She has 3 sibblings TJ (brother), Wendy
and Chrissy (sisters). Lacey is a singer, dancer, pianist
and a skilled violin player. She was raised in a religious christian
home in the suburbs of rural Mississippi. She had a relatively
normal young childhood attending public schools. She was
even voted Miss Jr Missisippi as a schoolgirl.
As a child Lacey would sing & dance
around the house and took part in her school plays and church
plays. Her mother suggested that if she were going to sing,
she might as well do it right, and so she started taking
voice lessons at the age of five. At nine years old she
was discovered by an agent when her parents took the family
to New York for a two-week 1990 summer vacation. The agent got
her selected for the TV show "Star Search" in
1991, she became a singing finalist and eventually won.
This brought her immediate attention and she was originally
selected to play the role of "Young age Lily"
in the movie Return to the Blue Lagoon (1991), starring
the then 16 year old Milla
Jovovich but Lacey bailed out for unknown reasons. After this
she  gained another break with a cough syrup commercial,
this lead to a successful audition for the Broadway production
of Les Miserables, where she went on to play the young "Cosette" for two
years.
Due to Lacey's amazing success at
such a young age her family decided to move to California
when she was 12. The
family move paid off huge, that year Lacey landed her break through
hollywood role as Claudia Salinger on the hit TV show "Party
of Five" (1994-2000). She became a prime-time star
playing the youngest one of the beleaguered Salinger family members on
the Fox drama series. In 1995, the cast and crew of "Party
of Five" threw her a surprise 13th birthday party on the set of
Salingers  Restaurant. Scott, Neve
Campbell, Paula, and Mitchell Anderson were all there
for her 13th birthday bash in 1995. The show was a great
success and also launched the career of the young and too lovely actress
Neve
Campbell.
Lacey growing up as a teen hollywood
star has said she "likes alternative music like Lisa Loeb and Savage
Garden, she also says enjoys TV's ER and The X File's".
Lacey also is more than capable violinist learning to play while growing
up. She enjoys various activities, especially shoe shopping,
and she is particularly fond of Cajun cooking.
Lacey was
once escorted out of a department store in Europe for being
dressed “inappropriately.” She claims she was
wearing a t-shirt and cut off shorts at the time. As a teen
star growing up Lacey is never seen with teeny tabliod boyfreinds or scandals. Weirdly little
information is known about anyone she's dated.
While appearing on "Party
of Five" Lacey in 1998 made her first big-screen
debut in the film "Lost
in Space" remake at then 15 years old. Known for her natural acting skills
and charming personality, her sweet as candy voice has also
seen her record many advertising jingles and many parts
in animated films and features like Nickelodeon's The Wild
Thornberries, American
Tail and
Balto
II: Wolf Quest.
In August 2000 Party of 5 was cancelled by the network. It seemed Lacey would have to break the dreaded child star label to have a career after the show ended. While noboby was looking however she had blossomed into a total hottie. She appears as fresh young eye candy in "Stuff" Magazine in 2001

or Penny Robinson for that matter. Lacey breaks away from the dreaded child star label. In the 2002 film "Home Front" she has a fleeting semi-nude
scene as the sexy daughter of a troubled Louisiana gulf fishing family early during WW II.
She would next appear in many teen schoolgirl in heat movie roles including low budget flicks like "Tart"
with teen hottie Dominique Swain and again in "Not
another Teen Movie" as the dreamgirl that stops traffic and apparently likes to give handjobs. heard HERE.
Quickly Lacey lands better roles and is in Adam Sandlers "Daddy
Daycare". Then came the huge teen flick "Mean
Girls" in 2004 starring with teen-mega honey's Lindsay Lohan and Rachel McAdams. Seems to me she's way sexier
and or even much hotter than Lindsay Lohan but hey what the fuck do I know.
