Lindsay Morgan Lohan was born in New York City, New York, on July 2nd 1986, to parents Dina and Michael Lohan. Lindsay became the first child of a proud couple: Dina (a one-time Radio City "Rockette" and Wall Street analyst who now manages her daughter's career) and Michael Lohan (a long-time Wall Street trader who developed, then sold, his family's multi-million-dollar pasta business to fund and develop major studios and independent Hollywood productions). She has three siblings (Michael, Aliana and Dakota) would follow in the years to come.

She began her career at age three as a Ford model (the first red-headed model ever), and also made appearances in over sixty television commercials, including spots for The Gap, Jello, Pizza Hut, and Wendy's. Lohan made her acting debut in 1996 as Ali Fowler in the television drama "Another World" (1964) the daytime television soap opera. Around this time, USA Today said Lindsay also would become one of several New York-area children to appear in a Halloween skit on David Letterman, dressed as garbage for a comedy skit.

It was not until January 05, 1997 that she knew she would be cast in a major motion picture. The director of "The Parent Trap", Nancy Meyers, called Lindsay that day and told her that she had the part or parts of the twins in the film. Lindsay proved that she is an actress of considerable skill, deftly handling two different personalities in one single movie. Lohan received a Young Artist award for Best Leading Young Actress in a Feature Film, as well as Blockbuster Entertainment and YoungStar award nominations in 1998.

Lindsay Lohan's parents were relieved when she decided to take a break at the age of 12 from her movie career - in a bid to remain "grounded". Lindsay Lohan, 12, decided to take a rest from acting after filming The Parent Trap in 1998 - so that she could lead a "normal" life. Lindsay Lohan says, "I was in London for about three months with my parents and I just felt I didn't want to work anymore. I wanted to go to school to see my friends and have a normal childhood. Early in 1999, Lindsay filmed another movie. "Life-Size" originally a Wonderful World of Disney production later released on home video this allowed Lindsay to act with Tyra Banks. After turning down the role of Penny in "Inspector Gadget" (1999), she returned to the small screen to star in the made-for-TV movies Life-Size (2000) (TV) and Get a Clue (2002) (TV).

In 2000, Lindsay won the role of "Rose" in Bette Midler's television sitcom, Bette. After shooting the pilot episode, the show's producers decided it would be easier on the crew most of whom lived near Los Angeles if filming moved to California. Lindsay gave up the role to stay in New York, and Los Angeles-area actress Marina Malota was pegged to take over the role of Midler's teen-aged daughter. The series was canceled only a few months later, due to sagging ratings and the strain on the show's stars (ironically, Midler had to fly cross-country from her New York home to film her own show). In June, 2001, Lindsay completed filming the role of "Lexy Gold" in Get a Clue, the Disney Channel Original Movie of the Month for January, 2002 — later rescheduled for telecast in June, 2002. Lohan again took a brief hiatus from acting.

Walt Disney Pictures announced on July 31, 2002 that Lindsay had signed on to play Anna Coleman in the theatrical remake of "Freaky Friday." Updating yet another film from its vaults, Disney signed Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis as the mother-and-daughter team who wake up one day in each other's bodies. Lohan who already proved she could fill Hayley Mills' shoes amoung other anatomy took on a role that helped propel a young Jodie Foster to stardom. Lindsay was paid $550,000 to appear in the film. This film really made Lindsay a star, she delevoped from a young girl to extreme hottie teenager virtually over night. Lindsay suddenly blossoms into stardom with offers coming from every direction.

Lindsay received some unwanted exposure in 2002 with the papparazzi snapping photos when she is seen rushing into a club talking on her cell phone. The 16 year old starlett seems unfazed as she stumbles into the club a breast pops out of her slinky blouse. She barely notices and continues walking and talking on her cell phone while going into a hollywood nightclub.

In 2003, Lindsay accepted the lead role in Disney's "Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen" (originally a New Line project written for Hilary Duff, who had to pass due to her full schedule suppossedly). Filmed in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and in New York City, Queen is set for release early in 2004. Lindsay is now commanding newbie hollywood hottie movie salaries and is paid $1,000,000 to appear in this film.

Later in 2003, leaving The Mouse behind (for now), Lindsay jumped over to Paramount Studios to re-team with Freaky director Mark S. Waters for teen blockbuster "Mean Girls". Lindsay career is still red hot, she is paid $1,000,000 for this role. Incredible as it may seem she is a huge box office draw as numbers don't lie. The release of "Mean Girls" starring Lindsay Lohan and the smoking hot Lacey Chabert was a box office smash. Lindsay plays Cady Heron, a worldly newcomer to an Illinois High School. Lindsay is offered an unbelievable 7.5 million dollars to appear in her next movie "Just My Luck".

Lindsay Lohan hollywoods hot new redhead, whoose career went thermal in 2004. Lindsay signs a "undisclosed" long term record deal with Casablanca Records Tommy Mottola. At the tender age of 18 in the summer of 2004. Shes definitely got the fresh budding assets which peaked in 2004. Lindsay was poised to fulfill her lifelong dream of becoming a singer (huge shock) when one of the biggest names in music, Emilio Estefan, Jr., took Lindsay under his professional wing. Estefan Enterprises announced a five-album production deal and the promise of an aggressive effort to "sell "her pop style "with a rock edge crap to a major record label. The first CD released wasn't until 2 years later with Lindsay's "Speak" CD. Amazingly it sold huge to the teeny popstar crowd the album was certified platinum in 2005.

During Miss Lohan's new found popularity and success recent issues with her family have become as redhot as her career. Lindsay Lohan's Father is arrested on theft for skipping out on a $3,800 bill for several suites at a posh Long Island hotel in May 2004. Then even more incredibly, in the front yard of the family home in North Merrick, NY Lohan's father, Michael, brawled with her uncle, Matt Sullivan, and was later arrested and charged with assault in June 2004. Sullivan Lindsay's uncle, needed 15 stitches to close a gash on his head the incident sheds an unflattering light on Michael Lohan's troubled adulthood. As Mr Lohan went to trail in the courthouse he suddenly became ill and had to be transportated to a nearby hospital. He recovers shortly thereafter. His rap sheet includes a four-year federal prison term for securities fraud and seven collars in Nassau County, including scheme to defraud, grand larceny, bail jumping and harassment. Since 1986, civil judgments from some 20 creditors against Michael Lohan have totaled nearly $300,000.

Despite any family issues Lindsay remains always busy with many projects mostly with Disney. She begins filming Disney's remake of "Herbie the Love Bug" with "Herbie: Fully Loaded" in late 2004. While filming Lindsay was in the hospital for a second time in less than a year (the 1st time was last year while filming Herbie: Fully Loaded (2005)) after working 17 hours on her movie "Just My Luck" (2005) also just finished.

Lindsay has trimmed down considerablly in 2005 and is seen at many events looking almost scary skinny. She is plastered all over the tabloids as a possible anorexic. She wants to stick to the good girl type roles and has no interrest in any other type of work at this time. Lindsay defends her innocent and pure girl next door image but things quickly change for her throughout 2006.

By late 2006 lindsay's public image is all about drinking, club hoppin, and lost underwear weekends. What a differance a year makes for a young girl with way too much money. Lindsay now is quoted saying "I don't have a problem with doing nudity onscreen". This statement of course follows her string of peek-a-boo paparazzi picture shows she's put on this year. Starting with the General Motors show where by Lindsay's breast makes an unscheduled (aka Tara Ried) type appearance. It just so happens that Lindsay's new best friend is Paris Hilton and Britney Spears, no word yet if Linsday has a steady boyfreind.

Early in 2007 hollywood party girl Lindsay has checked herself into Wonderland Center in Los Angeles as of January 2007. She still has been spotted out shopping and having lunch with friends. Lohan, who is 20-years-old and not allowed to legally drink in the US, was spotted again less than 24 hours later sneaking out of West Hollywood nightclub Area alone. It was confirmed in December 2006, that she was attending Alcoholics Anonymous meetings.

Her career hasn't suffered at least not yet, Lindsay was paid $7,500,000 her biggest paycheck to date for filming Just my Luck, she also completed work on Bobby, "Chapter 27" and "Georgia Rule" all do out sometime in 2007. By 2007 Lindsay's antics had her on every frontpage tabloid as the starlet out of control. A home video surfaces of the hot redhead sniffing cocaine at a Hollywood A-list party. (really, like that never happens) Weeks later Lindsay is busted for DUI and possession of cocaine on May 26th in California. The young hottie pays massive fines and is released on a $25,000 dollar bond with an ankle braclet to monitor for drugs and or alchohol.

After a heated argument with her personal assistant Taryn the young assistant quits and Lindsay is really pissed. After a typical coke slutty night of clubbin Taryn quits. Lindsay procedes to chase down said assistant and winds up in some serious shit with the cops and her public. As the story goes Lindsay (with a suspended license) jumps into a car of her assistants boyfreind and speeds away to follow Taryn and her mother driving home. Unfortuately for Lindsay after a highspeed chase the assistants mother calls the police on her cell phone after spotting a crazy driver following them. Shortly thereafter the police bust Lindsay again for DUI and possession of cocaine and of course driving on a suspended license. As a weird twist to this mess the car Lindsay highjacked had 2 guys in it. Freinds of Taryn's boyfreind apparently who may file there own charges against the breasty young redhead.

This all spells doom for the hot just turned 21 year old movie star. She could face serious jail time and the damage to her career may shatter her image to filmakers for years to come. Presently she is back in rehab for the third time as her publicist manages major damage control. Meanwhile Lindsay is hiding somewhere until the storm blows over.
