Jennifer Love Hewitt was born in Waco, Texas, she was raised by her mother in Killeen, TX . Her mother, Pat, (Italian) is a speech pathologist and her father, Danny, (German) is a medical technician. Her parents separated when she was six months old. She got her first name from her older brother Todd (b. 1971), who picked the name after a little blonde girl he then had a crush on at the time. Her mother selected her middle name, Love, which she goes by offstage from her best friend at college. She made her official performing debut at age 3 where she sang at a livestock show in Texas. At the age of 4 while at a restaurant-dance hall she disappeared. She was found on the stage singing "Help Me make It Through The Night". At age 5, she was taking tap, jazz, and ballet lessons which led her to joining the Texas Show Team, which toured the Soviet Union and Europe. At age 10, the family moved to L.A. with the encouragement of talent scouts, while her brother Todd stayed behind to finish high school in Texas. Love quickly found commercial work and her big break came in 1989 at age 10 in a role on a Disney (1984) TV show "Kids Incororated" she appears from 1989-91 in the series. Jennifer blossomed at an early age (11) so in 1991 she didnt look much like a kid anymore and her career takes a new direction as she leaves the TV show "Kids Incororated" in 1991 with several of new offers in hand.

In 1992 Love, an aspiring singer at 13 years old, releases her first album "Love Songs" in the summer of 1992. Based mainly on her singing talents for the Disney TV Show. She croons teen love sick tripe with considerable skill. About the same time Love also began appearing in TV commercials and was featured in the national print campaign for LA Gear in 1991-1992. She also appears in commercials with legendary basketball star, Michael Jordan by 1992. This lead to her big screen debut with the movie "Muncie" in 1992. The following year she lands roles in films "Home for Christmas" and "Sister Act 2". Miss Hewitt was definitely considered a child actor growing up in hollywood by this time.

Jennifer went through a series of television flopped hit or misses at this point. She was a series regular on doomed TV's "McKenna," "The Byrds of Paradise," and the short lived TV show "Shaky Ground", before being added to the cast of FOX's hit TV series "Party of Five" (1994-1999) in 1995 as Sarah Reeves Merrin. This role remade her career as she struggled to break free of the kid actor stereo type. While working on the show she meets her schoolgirl crush Joey Lawrence (actor TV's Blossom) and is the talk of teen magazine gossip and envy.

In 1995 she releases her second album Let’s Go Bang which was completed just prior to her being cast on "Party of Five," in 1995. Jen shyly comments on the title CD that "It's not what it sounds like, "Bang Me " erm I mean "Lets Go Bang" was supposed to be a dance". Indeed it is a Lovey dance to be sure "Yeah, yeah, yeah I wanna go bang".

Jennifer's break out role was the feature film "I Know What You did Last Summer," this series of films put her on the map with hollywood movie executives and fans alike. Her next album, the self titled Jennifer Love Hewitt, was released in Sep. 1996. The title song was released on the soundtrack of her summer movie, "I Still Know What You Did Last Summer by 1998." The album got no play what so ever even her great singing voice couldn't save the bible school lyrics.

In 1996 she lost the role of Juliet in Romeo + Juliet (1996) to Claire Danes because the director felt she wasn't "modern" enough. More likely was the fact she wasn't willing get naked enough. The following year she was considered for the title role in the remake of "Lolita" (1997) but lost it to the blossoming 16 year old hottie Dominique Swain. Instead she finds work in the teen film "Can't Hardly Wait" where she appears as the hot good girl barbie type dating the school dickhead football star. At 19 years old she works in her next feature "Telling You" (1998). Doing all this while still filming the TV show "Party of 5.

Love in 1999 was hottier than ever but she doesnt cash in on this popularity and widespread success. Jennifer gains a reputation of not exactly comfortable or willing to do any naughty girl type nude scenes. This will eventually ruin an otherwise promising film career.

Instead she moves to TV yet again with her spinoff series from "Party of 5" to a new show of dramo-crap "Time of Your Life". In the 1999 FOX TV spin off Series starring Love as Sarah Reeves Merrin a girl who leaves San Francisco to look for her father in New York. The show recieved low ratings despite Love's bratty sex appeal. The show was terminated due to extremely low ratings. Despite last minute attempts featuring Jen bleary eyed in lots "oops I'm almost naked" type situations. Abou tthe same time, Love has new infatuation with MTV's Carson Daily this also comes crashing down and Jen's really having an great year.

Sadly on the relationship rebound Jen dates teen cherry poppin daddy Wilmer Valderrama of "That 70s Show" dates Jen for a short time late in 1999. Wilmer has dated numberous teen hottie conquests like: Lindsay Lohan, Ashlee Simpson and Mandy Moore amoung others. Jen goes slumming again with her movie role choices that year. Later seen in the ill fated The Suburbans (1999). Which features her as a crazed fan of a long dead 80's rock band attempting to revive their career.

Jennifer apparently is a huge Gwyneth Paltrow fan. She sent 3 dozen pink roses the night before Paltrow won the Oscar in 1999. Hewitt also wrote her a 2 page letter praising her as a role model and admiring her work. Paltrow sent a reply a week later, and Jen framed it, later commenting "it's my favorite thing". When the 2 actresses met for the first time at the 2000 Golden Globes, Jen swoons Gwyneth pressing the flesh with her actress idol quoting: "She came up to me and gave me a hug for the flowers. I thought I was going to pass out. I was absolutely going to have a heart attack." The meeting didn't feature Jen jamming her tongue down Gwyneth's throat on the Golden Globes stage but, if asked Jen seemed like she'd "Do about anything for Gwyneth."

The year 2000 did mark Jennifer's most serious role to date in the film which tells the life story of "The Audrey Hepburn Story." she played the role to some critical acclaim. Amazingly Love is offered a role by hottie career builder Arron Spelling: WB's "Charmed" (1998-Present), taking over Shannen "sexy bitch" Doherty's place, but the young 22 year old turns it down.

Instead she appears in comedy role of her career with the 2001 film "Heartbreakers" as a young daughter in a pair of con artists. Starring along side Sigourney Weaver "her on screen mom" as they gold dig and swindling men out of money via marriage and divorce. Eventually finding her true love. During filming Love broke her finger shooting the "flopper dive" scene in Heartbreakers those vegetarian diets build strong bodies don't they. She cashes in with this role and is paid 4 million dollars to appear in the film, her biggest pay day ever. The opening scenes feature Jen really taking hold Ray Liotas character or trying to anyway. The film actually did relatively well grossing 45 million and sporting an all star cast including Gene Hackman, Ray Liota, Anne Bancroft and Jason Lee. Worth a look on DVD.

Jennifer's next agrees to a film with Jackie Chan in 2002's "The Tuxedo", which she took not even knowing ho her co-star would be. Finally Jackie Chan signs for the role and the reviews weren't very forgiving. Describing herself in the role as a sort of a Bond Girl type character. Turns out to a nerd tech woman with another limp story yet again. with no real love story type performance.

Later that year, she completes her forth album in 2002 Bare Naked (wishful thinking for every straight man with a pulse) it's released on October 8, 2002. The new CD reflects a more mature and organized effort by the still gorgeous 23 year old honey from Texas. The music seems like a I'm not a little girl anymore type statement as she adopts a new rocker sort of look. It is probably the best attempt but unfortunately it gets shot down on her nakesake alone. Love seems to have developed a theme with titles to her albums since the debut of her "Love Songs" album in 1992. Titles like "Lets Go Bang" , "Can I Go Now" and "Barenaked" leave fans wondering whats really in Love's naughty subliminal musical messages. When confronted about some of the sugestive tiltes she dismisses it as coincidence. The new CD's release coincides with a hot FHM 2002 phootshoot featuring an erotically posed Love Hewitt's breasts looking fantastic on the cover. (Seen HERE)

More recently Miss Hewitt has made some questionable acting choices. Love was originally cast to star in "The Wedding Planner" (2001) which turned huge box office sales. She loses the role to Jennifer Hot booty Lopez however. Instead she takes the role in "Garfield" the movie. She explains it's a kids movie and that is what attracted her to the role. She was paid 1 million dollars to appear in the film. Unbelievably the film grossed 75 million at the box office and is her highest grossing film role ever. Including "I Know What You Did Last Summer" which made 73 million at the box office.

Then there was the unbelievable "Punked" episode where Love is prtraumatized, "Punked" by Ashton Kutcher on the infamous show, and she is terrified crying by the end of the bit. Genuinely conviced she was going to die when the producer she's with is shaken down for money in his hollywood office by a thug acting for the TV Show.

In 2002 Love worked on many projects including voice over work for animated features The Hunchback of Notre Dame II as the voice of Madellaine and Adventures of Tom Thumb and Thumbelina as the voice of Thumbelina . Love then travels to London to work on the film "If Only" in late 2002 (yet to be released) and dates her English co-star Paul Nicholls. Of course when filming ended so did Love's attention span. Nicholls later states he will never date another actress and will reveal no more about their breakup.

Miss Hewitt has always played it safe with the good girl next door type characters. Her innocent looks and lovely figure have always heated her on screen sexual innocence. She is passed up for traditional hollywood roles mostly because of her virgin type shyness which comes through clearly in her TV and movie roles. Love has always had a strict no nudity clause in her contracts which to date has never been bent, much less broken. This explains in part why she hasn't become the blockbuster type film star yet or prolly ever.

In her personal life she seems to move quickly from relationship to relationship as often as she changes her mood and or her shoes apparently. She used to live, or still lives ?, with her mother in her hollywood home. Perhaps one day she will find Mr. Right but most of her ex-boyfreinds describe her as a little crazy impulsive and emotionally inmature. She frequently appears at almost all public functions and hollywood events always maintaining her perfect public image with an impeckable reputation, so far.
 
Presently Love late in 2004 Love agrees to get paid, erm I mean appear in the "Garfield 2: A Tail of Two Kitties" (2006) no word yet if there will be a "Garfield: Sweater Puppies III" in the works. She again appears as Dr. Liz Wilson (a veternarian) in the sequel.

In 2005 Jen jiggles back with yet another TV Show this time in "The Ghost Whisperer" as a newly wed named Melinda Gordon with the ability to act really flakey and communicate with the earthbound spirits of the recently deceased. She overcomes skepticism and doubt using her cleavage to help send their important messages to the living and allow the dead to pass on to the other side with a little glimpse of heaven on the way. As the show hits it's stride in the second season in 2007 it is stoutly supported by Jennifers incredible bossoms.

She stars in the film Confessions of a Sociopathic Social Climber (2005) as Katya Livingston. This flick contains lots of scenes featuring Jen looking really hot and acted hugely shallow. Even without a script she is a man candy hottie throughout.
